YOUR SEASONAL STEER: STYLE, CUISINE AND JOIE DE VIVRE
Konfekt is an elegant and expansive quarterly magazine launched in 2020 by the creators of Monocle. Edited in London by Sophie Grove – with bureaux in Paris, Tokyo and Zürich – its essays, interviews and deep reportage cover the worlds of fashion, food, craft, travel and design.
Focusing on unhurried prose with plenty of long, lingering suppers and brisk, reviving swims – Konfekt is a celebration of spirited hosts, inimitable style, hikes in the wilds and beautifully crafted things. It’s a meditation on the meaning of modern luxury and a reflection on the essence of living well.
Each issue is brimming with inspiring travel itineraries, considered interiors, tasty recipes and winning seasonal looks.
Keep up to date with all things Konfekt via our fortnightly newsletter and monthly podcast.

Konfekt’s autumn issue pursues both health and happiness, as the breeze gets cooler and thoughts refocus – starting from the tips from our cover star, Japanese actress Asami Mizukawa. Besides our annual round-up of the world’s most refreshing spas – dropping in to pools, saunas and tennis courts from South Tyrol to the Cyclades, via Kenya and Bavaria – in these pages you will find Konfekt’s first Japan special. We venture to Tokyo to unearth its most compelling fashion brands, spots for a cocktail and retail addresses. Also: Eight creatives present their automotive gems and show us around the city on four wheels; and we delve into the joys of looking at Japan through an autumnal cinematic lens. Plus: We follow a parade of Austrian cows down from pasture to celebrate harvest season, serve lunch in rural Ireland and join a Viennese tea party with cake artist Sophia Stolz. Our fashion section visits Uruguay to track down the pampas’s finest knits, alongside our pick of sharp blazers and fine watches for a sense of renewed dedication and purpose.

As an extra treat, you can now buy a Konfekt subscription and have the next four issues in the series delivered straight to your door – wherever you are in the world.
